Our Story

BETTAbility was founded with a simple but powerful conviction that disability support should be human, flexible, and genuinely empowering. We saw a gap between what NDIS participants needed and what the sector was delivering, and we decided to do something about it.

From our roots in Brisbane, we've grown into a team of passionate support workers, coordinators, and specialists who share one goal, helping participants live their best lives, on their own terms.

Today, BETTAbility delivers a full suite of NDIS supports, from in-home care and supported independent living, to community access, support coordination, and our flagship BETTActivities program. Every service we offer is shaped by the people we support.

BETTAbility is our core disability support division, delivering a full range of NDIS-funded supports to help participants live independently and engage meaningfully with their communities. From in-home care and personal support to Supported Independent Living (SIL) and community access, our team works alongside each participant to build confidence, develop skills, and achieve their individual goals. Jo Hudson

Director | Health, Wellbeing & Growth

Jo brings a compassionate, person-centred approach to disability support, with a strong commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and creating services that genuinely respond to the individual needs of each person. As Founder of BETTA Group, Jo provides leadership with a particular focus on people requiring complex and individualised support. Her hands-on approach and strong advocacy help ensure participants, families and teams feel heard, respected and supported while building greater choice, confidence and quality of life.

Director, Support Coordinator | Men's Mental Health & Lived Experience Navigator

Adam brings a genuine, person-centred approach to supporting people through complex life circumstances, with a particular focus on men's mental health, disability and navigating support systems. Drawing on both professional and lived experience, Adam understands the importance of being heard, respected and supported without judgement. His approach is grounded in conversation, connection and practical guidance, helping people understand their options, build confidence and move toward greater choice and control in their lives.

Nicole brings exceptional leadership and operational expertise to BETTAbility. As General Manager, she oversees the day-to-day running of the organisation, ensuring every team member is equipped to deliver outstanding support. Nicole is passionate about building a workplace culture where both staff and participants can flourish.

E'zoza Rustamova

Quality, Safeguards and Compliance Manager

E'zoza leads BETTAbility's approach to quality, safeguards and compliance, helping ensure our services remain safe, accountable and aligned with NDIS requirements and best practice. With a strong eye for detail and a genuine commitment to continuous improvement, E'zoza works closely with our teams to strengthen systems, maintain high standards and, most importantly, ensure the people we support remain at the centre of everything we do.

Operations Coordinator

Krystal plays a key role in the day-to-day coordination of BETTAbility's services, working closely with participants, support workers and the wider team to keep supports running smoothly. Known for her hands-on approach and strong connection with the people we support, Krystal helps coordinate services, respond to changing needs and ensure participants receive consistent, reliable and person-centred support.

Specialist Case Coordinator

Ashley provides specialist case coordination for people with complex and evolving support needs, bringing together participants, families, providers and allied health professionals to help achieve positive outcomes. With a strong focus on collaboration, advocacy and person-centred practice, Ashley helps navigate challenges, coordinate the right supports and ensure each person's goals, choices and individual needs remain at the centre of their support.

Executive Services & Property Coordinator

Jason oversees BETTAClean and our property operations, helping ensure our homes, facilities and environments are maintained to a high standard. He coordinates property needs, cleaning services and day-to-day operational requirements across the organisation. With a practical, hands-on approach and a strong commitment to creating safe, welcoming and well-maintained spaces, Jason plays an important role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
